En el misterio de la memoria

nos espera el secreto

de una  esquina inadvertida

en donde acecha el peligro,

la amenaza es múltiple 

y el riesgo es enorme  

al cruzarla con prisa.

Adelante de esa esquina,

de esa falsa encrucijada,

un pasaje sereno

aguarda en silencio

y si, en un descuido,

por un error de cálculo,

tomamos ese atajo,

nos habremos perdido

sin remedio.

awaits the secret

of an unnoticed corner

where danger lurks,

the threat is multiple

and the risk is enormous

when crossing it in haste.

Ahead of that corner,

of that false crossroads,

a serene passage

waits in silence

and if, in a moment of carelessness,

through an error of calculation,

we take that shortcut,

we will have lost ourselves

without remedy.
