Veintiocho líneas horizontales:

desde el borde a la punta. Hasta el final.

Eliminado el viejo margen

ahora es imaginario colectivo.

Milimétrico el cálculo que separa

las líneas idénticas y exactas.

Senderos por los que han de marchar

laboriosas hormigas negras

y su carga de ideas necesarias e indiscutibles.

En grupos compactos las hormigas 

saltan entusiasmadas a dar batalla,

aspiran ser relámpago, centella, 

luminoso fulgor en el silencio,

pero caen abatidas a medio camino

acuchilladas por trucos, ingeniosas tretas,

ensayados simulacros, artificios.

Intentan apoyarse en bifurcaciones

o subirse a lo alto de la torre

pero les falta consistencia

y se diluyen en gruesas tachaduras

sin lograr ser sustantivo, verbo, adjetivo,

suspiro, latido, eco del corazón.

and their cargo of necessary and indisputable ideas.

In compact groups, the ants

leap enthusiastically to give battle,

they aspire to be lightning, spark,

luminous flash in the silence,

but they fall defeated halfway

stabbed by tricks, ingenious ruses,

rehearsed simulations, artifices.

They try to lean on bifurcations

or climb to the top of the tower

but they lack consistency

and dissolve into thick strikethroughs

without managing to be a noun, a verb, or an adjective,

sigh, heartbeat, echo of the heart.
