Guerra a muerte CC

El presidente tiene horas hablando. Su rostro y el desagradable tono de su voz están presentes en todos los televisores.  Una nueva ley obliga a las emisoras a transmitir los mensajes del Presidente cada vez que se le ocurra, sin recibir pago alguno y sin límite de tiempo.

Aburrido, Francisco apagó el televisor y se asomó a la ventana con sus inocentes siete años. Se entretuvo jugando a descubrir formas en las nubes. En el cielo apareció un enorme dinosaurio. El animal se tragó una paleta de algodón de azúcar colorida. Francisco sabía que era un espinosaurio.

Los vecinos, cansados del abuso diario del Presidente, de sus continuas interrupciones a sus programas de televisión favoritos, reventaron sus cacerolas con un estruendo, en señal de protesta airada. Francisco supo que debía dejar la ventana y correr debajo de la cama, resguardarse, pero quiso esperar un segundo en la ventana. En el cielo, una nube de fuego terminó por tragarse al espinosaurio.

Oyó un disparo, un silbido y el segundo se hizo eterno.

War to the Death CC

The president has been talking for hours. His face and the unpleasant tone of his voice are present on all televisions. A new law forces broadcasters to transmit the President’s messages whenever he feels like it, without receiving any payment and without a time limit.

Bored, Francisco turned off the television and looked out the window with his innocent seven years. He entertained himself playing at discovering shapes in the clouds. An enormous dinosaur appeared in the sky. The animal swallowed a colorful cotton candy lollipop, Francisco knew it was a spinosaurus.

The neighbors, tired of the President’s daily abuse, of his continuous interruptions to their favorite television programs, banged the pots with a roar, in a sign of angry protest. Francisco knew he should leave the window and run under the bed, take shelter, but he wanted to wait one second at the window. In the sky, a cloud of fire ended up swallowing the spinosaurus.

He heard a shot, a whistle, and the second became eternal.
